Raym Crow, Managing Partner

Chain Bridge Group Managing Partner Raym Crow has over 25 years' experience in academic publishing and library information services, specializing in strategic business planning, information service development, and market management.

Crow has helped publishers—large and small, nonprofit and commercial—plan and implement digital information services, extend the reach and revenue potential of existing products, and open new markets. His educational background includes a B.A. from Whittier College and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.

 


Diane Smith, Senior Consultant

Diane Smith has over 35 years in the library and information industry, working both as an academic librarian and, most recently, as a VP for product development at LexisNexis and ProQuest. She has a solid understanding of the library market and a proven track record in product development, market research, competitive analysis, and market segmentation. Her product development experience includes work on general reference services, legal, and government information based products.

Smith's educational background includes a BA from Mary Washington College, an MLS from the University of North Carolina, and an MBA from Penn State University.


Lloyd Palmer, Senior Consultant

Lloyd Palmer is a seasoned information industry professional with more than 20 years’ experience developing online information products and content delivery systems, digital publishing infrastructures, and library automation services. Mr. Palmer has a B.A. from New York University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. Palmer’s experience includes—

  • Design and implementation of digital imaging projects;
  • Development of publishing, editorial, and production systems supporting multiple output media (print, digital, and microform);
  • Publishing workflow and process reengineering;
  • Web site development; and
  • Design and implementation of e-commerce sites.
